I was very lucky to get selected to visit Ann Arbor, MI, USA, and attend the Doctoral Consortium at the 41st International ACM SIGIR Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval (SIGIR ‘18). This is the most important venue for doctoral candidates in the field, and takes place in the top conference in Information Retrieval.
I presented my then-ongoing work on the vision for task-completion engines, and received the feedback and metoring from experts in the field of Information Retrieval.
