In this presentation, I described our work in task-based information retrieval, in particular, type-aware entity retrieval and query suggestion generation for supporting task-based search.

This talk took place in a Doctoral Seminar held at the IAI group in Stavanger, for the research visit of Dr. Maarten de Rijke, Professor at University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
